Lily yarns about her journey to become a Law student at ANU and how they have helped shape the person she is today with an overwhelming amount of support from Aboriginal elders within ANU. Lily and I yarn about her interpretations of the Constitution in modern day society and how so - called Australia is still being colonised. Lily yarns about the amount of strength that is held by our people and how Lily has hopes to make a change and help our people in the justice system. In Lily's words, with the First peoples of the continent being amongst the most incarcerated in the world (proportionally), the more of our people that aren't stuck in the justice system ,the more of our people you have out there that know how to care for country.

AmberDays is a GOTS - Certified, ethical and sustainable clothes brand aimed to empower women and share our culture in a way that is kind to country. Corina is a super driven, and passionate mother who began the brand as a way of making change in different spaces. Corina talks about life as a single mother, whilst creating a label that represents her values - the highs, and the lows. Corina yarns about how she aims to create social change, as well as change within the fashion industry to be better and kinder to our country. it was so humbling for myself to chat to the face behind the label who really is authentic in every way. This week on Mob Talk we are joined by TV Presenter and Kamilaroi man Matty Mills. Matty yarns about his journey to being in the job of his dreams, whilst acknowledging it hasn't been an easy path. Matty opens up about his childhood in the system, going in and out of foster care, being split from his brothers, to then be reunited with his dad, whom he thought had passed.
Matty shares his story with such openness and strength, showing forgiveness and love to his family members, understanding that his parents also had their own trauma.
Matty yarns about defying the odds and backing yourself in, and how this has helped him navigate his way throughout his older years.
